All of these works follow in the footsteps of traditional illuminated manuscripts with a modern twist. The illustrations, calligraphy, and 24K gold work are influenced by European, Asian, and Arabian art utilizing processes established in the 13th-15th centuries. Each piece is painted with opaque watercolor and gauche paint on a 4 ply, 100% cotton rag vellum paper using lightfast engrossing ink and 24K shell gold. All matting provided on original works are acid free and archival.
